Feldman Law Center – Eileen Ulery wasn’t a real estate speculator. She was an executive assistant at Arizona State University that bought a condo in Mesa, Arizona for $77,000 in 1997 where she had lived ever since. Several years and a couple of refi’s later, her mortgage balance was up to $140,000 and then the bottom fell out.
